Who we are

What we collect
When you use the enquiry or sample request form, we collect the information you enter: your name, company, country, email address, and optionally a phone number, product interest, quantity, board reference and message. We also process the technical information needed to deliver the enquiry, such as the time it was sent.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or social media plug-ins. If website analytics are enabled, we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless service that reports aggregated page views without identifying individual visitors.
Why we process it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and arrange samples or a colour match.
- To keep a record of the commercial relationship if an order follows.
- To meet legal, tax and customs obligations that apply to exports.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and compliance with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share data only where it is needed: with the form-processing and hosting providers that operate this website, with couriers when we send samples, and with our bank, forwarder or customs broker if an order proceeds. These providers process data on our instructions or under their own legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to business are kept for up to 24 months so that a later follow-up has context. Where an order follows, records are kept for as long as required by applicable tax and export law. You can ask us to delete an enquiry record earlier.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to Carnegieplastic@163.com and we will respond within the period required by law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security and transfers
This site is served over HTTPS and the enquiry form is transmitted encrypted. Because we are based in China, an enquiry sent to us is processed there; where required we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer. Our website infrastructure may process log data in other regions.
Cookies
This website does not set marketing or profiling cookies. If analytics are enabled they are cookieless and aggregate. Any essential storage used by the site is limited to making the pages work.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date. This notice is provided for information and is not legal advice; consider having it reviewed for the jurisdictions you sell into.
